Show your support for The Orson Welles Complex film. Women’s Tee reads, “It began with a torchlight parade, it ended in flames.”
The Orson Welles Theater can arguably be called the first modern art house in America. It was the first three screen cinema devoted to alternative programming. It also became associated with the merging American independent film scene. Directors specifically asked for their films to be played at the Welles. It was the Welles that relaunched a failed New World black exploitation film called The Harder They Come. Giving it, the music and its stars cult status.
